Well it's finally here. Years after the release of XP Service Pack 2 we finally have Service Pack 3. Bout time!
I get SO tired of installing XP w/SP2 fresh and having to install (literally) 100+ updates. So I installed it on my computer and on my server. So far the only thing that's negative is I get an error about cannot close Welcome when I try to shut down or restart. Hopefully I can find a fix for that. Paul Thurrott over at his SuperSite for Windows made up a FAQ for SP3. You can check it out here. You can upgrade to SP3 if you're using XP (any version) by going to Windows Update (in Internet Explorer) or by going to Microsoft's Website and downloading the standalone installer and running it on your own.
